Begum FM
Radio Begum launched on International Women's Day, 8 March 2021, founded by Hamida Aman and staffed entirely by women. Its schedule centres on educational programming for girls, broadcast under the restrictions the station operates within — it does not carry news or pop music. A sister project, Begum Academy, provides recorded lessons covering grades 7 to 12.
Listen live on Sandar, free and in the browser. Begum FM streams directly from the broadcaster, so this is the same feed going out on air.
